X.O sauce is an upgraded version of regular shrimp satay with a special flavor, bringing delicious crab and seafood dishes. X.O sauce is a spicy seafood sauce, originating from Hong Kong. X.O sauce is made from chopped dried seafood, including dried scallops, dried fish, dried shrimp... cooked with chili, onion, and garlic. 

The name X.O sauce originates from the way extra-old cognac is called, and usually only refers to Cognac that is aged for over 6 years or more.
