Brown Rice Pasta (Nui Gao Lut)
Product Introduction:
Brown Rice Pasta, also known as nui gao lut, is a type of pasta made primarily from whole grain brown rice flour. Brown rice retains its bran and germ layers, so brown rice pasta typically has a distinctive light brown color and contains more nutrients compared to pasta made from regular white wheat flour, including fiber, B vitamins, magnesium, and antioxidants. Brown rice pasta is a good choice for health-conscious individuals, vegetarians, or those looking to increase their daily fiber intake. The product often comes in various shapes such as tubes, spirals, and rectangles.
Instructions for Use:
- Boil an adequate amount of water (approximately 100g of pasta with 1 liter of water). You can add a pinch of salt to enhance the flavor.
- Once the water is boiling, add the brown rice pasta.
- Cook the pasta for about 8-12 minutes or until it is cooked through but still slightly firm to the bite (al dente). Cooking time may be slightly longer than pasta made from white wheat flour due to the nature of brown rice. Stir occasionally to prevent the pasta from sticking to the bottom of the pot.
- Drain the pasta and quickly rinse it under cold water to prevent sticking and maintain its firmness.
- Drain well, and then it can be used to prepare various dishes according to your preference, such as:
- Stir-fried brown rice pasta with vegetables, meat, or seafood.
- Brown rice pasta soup.
- Brown rice pasta salad.
- Brown rice pasta for vegetarian dishes.
Storage:
- Store brown rice pasta in a cool, dry place.
- Avoid direct sunlight and high humidity.
- After opening the packaging, it is best to store the pasta in an airtight container or zip-top bag to prevent insects and maintain the best product quality.
