The predecessor of C&T Produce was the LV Food brand, established in 2004 in Houston, Texas, by Ms. Nguyễn Thị Dziễm Chinh (also known as Chinh Nguyễn), a descendant of the Nguyễn Dynasty (6th generation, second main line — a great-grandchild of Emperor Minh Mạng), along with her family members.
